Vintage amps: dried-out capacitors: how does sound change?
Hi!
Checking out my newly-bought A78 MkII, and a tech friend of mine tells me that since 1975 the capacitors have surely dried out. The question is: have you experienced this with Revox equipment of this age and what would you replace them with? What type of capacitors?
Also, one more thing: how many capacitors would an A78 MkII have, approximately?
