I recently acquired this B77, in good condition, that has been assembled to be playback only. Serial Number is 32525, and it is 38cm/s.
Oscillator board, record amplifier board and input amplifier board are absent. The audio-inter-connect board is modified, and the record and erase heads look normal but have no electrical connections.
The front panel of the machine is as normal except the speed numerals are metric (19 and 38), all record and input switches present.

I can't be certain it came from the factory like this, or if it was modified by someone after purchase. I cannot understand the reason for removing the head wiring though, if it was not built this way at the factory.
