    Revox B790 Volume Issue

I have a Revox B790 turntable, and it seems that lately I need to turn the amplifier up louder in order to get an acceptable volume while playing records. So, the volume from my turntable seems low... can anyone please tell me which board I should have looked at for possible re-capping? The cartridge and stylus are new, everything is correctly configured and other than the low volume it is mint and perfect, so I am thinking I might need a board to be recapped. Any ideas on where to look first are greatly appreciated, this way I don't waste a lot of time in the wrong place. Thank you so much, I appreciate it!

    Hallo Mike,

"so I am thinking I might need a board to be recapped" >>> maybe in the amplifier?!?

in my opinion, there is no electrical Component between Pickup/Catrigde and the input off your Amplifier. Only the very tiny connectors could have any contact-problems.....
    Please read the servicemanual.

Thank you for your reply... well, I looked into that. I have two B790 turntables, one which is extremely mint and looks like it was just unpacked for the first time, and one which has had heavy use over the years. The mint one which I keep pristine is the one that has lower volume, I have to turn the amp up to volume level 60 for decent sound. My older well-used one connected to the same amplifier is very loud, and plays loudly when the amp is only on volume level 10. The only difference between the two turntables, is the older one has a Grado cartridge, but otherwise they have both been maintained, boards recapped, etc. So, now I am thinking perhaps it might be the cartridge. The Grado is brand new, while the cartridge in the mint unit is older. Thank you very much once again for your reply, I truly appreciate it!
