Ich bin in London UK und entschuldige mich, dass ich kein Deutsch spreche. Bitte verzeihen Sie etwaige Fehler, die durch die Verwendung eines Übersetzers entstanden sind!

Ich habe einen B795, der mit einem Messing-Gegengewicht ausgestattet ist. Das originale Revox-Bleigewicht habe ich nicht mehr.

Ich habe es geschafft, mein Shure V15 V mit einigen Bleipads auszugleichen, aber das ist eine hässliche Lösung, die unzuverlässig ist.

Hat jemand einen Vorschlag, wo ich ein geeignetes Bleigewicht bekommen könnte?

Hi Douglas and welcome.

Your Shure's VTF should be set at 15mN (1,5 "grams") when you're driving with the Dynamic Stabilizer (brush) engaged, or at 10mN (1 "gram") without. At least 15mN should be achievable with the brass counterweight, although...

The cartridge has a mass of 6,6g, if I'm not mistaken

The user manual is contradictory:
- it states that with a cartridge of a mass above 6 grams, the lead counterweight should be used
- and the cartridge-suitability chart states that Shure V15 Type V takes brass.

Now what?!

Revox might still stock lead counterweights, but the cost?...I guess north of 30 Euro to UK.

I would pay a visit to the nearest fishing store and get me a cuple of weights in THIS sense. With a file and some elbow-grease it should be doable (see rough dimensions).

I can't remember where I've gotten the masses (brass 8g, lead 14g), neither if they are actually correct. The kitchen scale I have is probably to chunky (brass 7g, lead 11g), and the stylus gauge goes only to 5g. Perhaps you can weigh yours to see which one is close(-er).

Ja, ich stimme Ihnen zu, dass die Anleitung widersprüchlich ist. Ich hatte erwartet, das Shure mit dem Messinggewicht ausbalancieren zu können. Aber ich konnte es nicht!

Ich habe versucht, etwas Blei zu kaufen, um das Gewicht zu machen, wie Sie vorschlagen - aber es ist schwer, es in kleinen Mengen zu bekommen. Das Angelgewicht ist eine ausgezeichnete Idee!

Ihre Zeichnung ist sehr hilfreich, da die Abmessungen des Bleigewichts etwas anders sind als die des Messinggewichts.

Ich würde allerdings lieber ein Gewicht kaufen, wenn es möglich ist - die Arbeit mit Blei ist nicht gut, da es giftig ist.

2) Get the mounting kit from France
3) Get the mounting kit from Germany...although the lead countereweight consist of lead stripes
4) Get the mounting kit from Australia

4) And my favourite (I do have the original kit)...it ain't lead, has reasonable bragging rights and you didn't object elbow-grease: https://www.argex.co.uk/

Minimum order total is 50 quid, so get/make two and sell one.

1 Ja, ich habe Revox kontaktiert - sie können nicht nach Großbritannien liefern, Brexit!!!!!
2 Der französische Bausatz sieht toll aus!
3 Ich habe einen von diesen - die Streifen sind keine gute Lösung.
4 Gleiches Problem wie 3 oben.

Die silberne Option ist eigentlich gut, keine Gefahr wie Blei.
